|These Kanji represent the Bushido code that the Samurai lived by. Each set of Kanji represented a virtue of daily living. It worked as a code of conduct and honor.|
The red Kanji spell out the word "Bu Shi Do", read from top to bottom.
The black Kanji (read from top to bottom, right to left) spell out each of the virtues.
Gi- Rectitude (or the act of doing the right thing)
Yuuki- Courage (double Kanji)
Meiyo- Honor (double Kanji)
Chugi- Loyalty (double Kanji)
The Kanji were hand drawn, then scanned into the computer. The Kanji and background were then made in Gimp, using the template I drew by hand.
